  • Pretty useful blog for an arc s user like me.

  • Which kernel you think it’s the best?

    • DoomKernel is the best in terms of features. He is now testing with new kernels for better battery life.

      • Thank you! I just bought a my arc s, I’d like to know more about the best roms for this phone. I had a Xperia X8, and I think it was much more simple to install kernels/roms/patchs… What changes in arc s? Thank you again.

        • Well most of them has it’s own feature. But I prefer stock ROM since there is no bugs. I just released my own ROM, Xperia Mod. You can try that as well :) With Xperia Arc or Arc S you need to unlock bootloader to flash custom kernels and ROMs for best results. But you may void your warranty by doing so also some feature might stop working like Tack ID, Like button in Music Player etc. But if you want to retain it then you need to unlock using third party providers which they would charge you.

          Hope this helps :)

          • I see! I tested a LOT of custom roms while I was using X8… Keep using stock rom forever is too boring, that’s why I like to test new ones and support independent developers like you. I really appreciate your work. After reading more, I realized that there’s not so many procedural changes between unlocking bootloader of X8 and Arc S and rooting them. One more question: If I un-root the device and reinstall custom rom, can I have my warranty back? Thanks!

          • It depends .. Most as far as I know Hardware warranties can be still claimed.

  • can i flash a firmware that is prerooted on my se arc s 4.0.2.a.0.62

  • Hello, you need to do something with the links mate, find another hosting site. . can’t download the fix for Arc S

    • My bad I forgot to mark the link public… Fixed it..

  • How about the new ICS full release?

    • Sorry mate i haven’t updated this post in a while. Now it’s update to date. If anything is missing let me know.

      Thanks

    • Sorry mate I haven’t updated this thread in a while. Now I have. Please let me know if anything is missing.

  • many game not responding in this version, like modern combat aim control not respond sometime ,,

  • Nice web

  • New kernels are being made. TheSega kernel are one of them. Also there is TheSegav4 Rom. But i dont think you need to update the thread. I the devs of the arc/s are leaving. So why bother. its the end for the arc/s

  • Forget my previous comment. Add TheSegaKernel. Add ThSega Rom. Add Cm10. Add Xperia Ice Bean Rom. Theres lots more

    • Sorry I’ll update them by this weekend. After changing my device it’s hard to keep track of them.

  • Tried everything, wasted bandwidth only to find that the rooting toolkit fails time after time on my Arc LT15i.

  • Add Pureness to your list. It works smooooooothly :)
